DIY After Sun Spray

If you haven’t tried Young Living’s Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood Hydrosol, it's glorious!! The smell will most likely catch you off guard as it is very woodsy but it’s incredible for your skin! I especially love how easy it is to give my skin a boost of hydration after being in the sun.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can use it for after sun spray & then give it another life: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I like to make use of every last drop.

Here's how I do that: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With what was left in the bottle, I made an after-sun cooling body spray:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Once the bottle was “empty”, I added 8 drops of lavender, 8 drops of peppermint (do not spray near eyes), 8 drops of elemi, about ½ tbsp. aloe and filled it with water. Shake & spray. Keep refrigerated.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And if you don’t have a RHSH spray bottle? - grab a 4oz. bottle from amazon, add 8 drops lavender, 8 drops peppermint, 8 drops elemi, about ½ tbsp. aloe and filled it with water. Shake & spray. Keep refrigerated.⠀

Peppermint - provides cooling sensation : helps lower body temperature

Lavender - soothing for sunkissed or sunburned skin

Elemi - nourishing to the skin; often referred to as the “poor man’s frank”.
